Hi — I’m Christian Portugal, an east coast filmmaker with a passion for camera and lights and the broad production world. Having studied at multiple Universities such as Hunter College and John Cabot University, I graduated from Champlain College with my BFA in Filmmaking with a specialization in cinematography. I have a great history at rental houses as a senior technician and patron, as well as the immensely valuable on set experiences on small and large productions.

I'm passionate about the technology and process in creating stories and works of art, through visual and audio mediums. I continue to practice and push traditional and non traditional means of creativity. Please feel free to explore my work and inquire in my services.
